Just wanted to share with you an open letter to the AirBNB community from their CEO, Brian Chesky. This is a great example of compassionate and caring transparency. He is living out the company’s values and company culture in generously taking care of his employees as they make the strategic business decision to lay off a significant part of their workforce. I applaud him both as a strategy consultant and an AirBNB host and customer. Please read about all they are doing for their employees and be encouraged. Also, think about your business, even if you don’t have employees but are cutting expenses with your vendors and contractors. How can you be compassionate and live out your values during this crisis?
